CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save their life. They were the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life.
Most breast cancers are discovered through self-checking, so this year Paul Mitchell UK has pledged to support CoppaFeel!'s Uni Boob Team text reminder service. A free monthly reminder to check your boobs straight to your mobile – because let’s face it, we all forget from time to time. With 1 in 8 women experiencing breast cancer in their lifetime and 400 men being diagnosed every year, early detection is key when it comes to tackling cancer.
Not only that but we will be sponsoring CoppaFeel!'s Uni Boob Team campaign, which aims to raise awareness and educate students at campuses across the United Kingdom about the importance of looking after their boobs. We'll also be rewarding any student that signs up with the chance to win over £500 worth of Paul Mitchell products! Lead by CoppaFeel! Patron Greg James, their kick-ass collective of student volunteers are on a mission to get young people talking about and checking their boobs. Why? Because knowing your boobs could save your life.
